Studying Turkish now, so here's some Turkish rap.
Sagopa Kajmer - Baytar
Turkish rap apparently originated in Germany among the large immigrant population there inspired by German rap and still has not caught on in Turkey.
And here's Russian rap.
КРЭК - Нежность
It's amusing to see the genre in Russia dominated by white rappers with a minority of dark rappers such as Timati (Tatar).
And Taiwanese as well.
MC Hotdog - 我愛台妹
Taiwanese rap is happier and not dominated by social issues as American gangster rap is. Taiwanese don't have the same issues as to deal with as American rappers and live comfortable undramatic lives.

Eloisa to Abelard
How happy is the blameless vestal's* lot!
The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd;
*vestal: virgin
I was interested in the origins of the film title Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which came from a poem by Alexander Pope, part of which was quoted in the film. The complete poem, Eloisa to Abelard, is here, quite long but worth reading.
Abelard was a 12th century philosopher who fell in love with Eloisa who he was tutoring. He was a monk and their relationship caused a problem both with his monastic duties and with her uncle, who after several complications in the story, castrated Abelard late one night. Eloisa became a nun after that while Abelard turned away from her, not being able to perform his lover's duties and in hindsight looking on her as a distraction. The poem relates Eloisa's feeling to Abelard.
